Overview of the Meeting

Following the success of our Innovative Solutions for Affordable Housing (ISAH) Symposium held from 4–6 June 2024, we had the privilege of meeting with the CEO of ASLA Construction on 13 June 2024. The CEO expressed his admiration for the symposium’s insights and innovative ideas, leading him to share ASLA Construction's Front Door Concept—a transformative solution aimed at addressing the housing crisis in informal settlements.

The meeting highlighted the transformative potential of the Front Door Concept as a solution to the housing challenges faced by low- to middle-income earners in informal settlements. By addressing affordability, infrastructure, and community engagement, this approach aligns with the broader goals of the ISAH initiative. Moving forward, we aim to collaborate with ASLA Construction to explore synergies and take actionable steps toward improving housing conditions for underserved communities.
